MUTS ATV trailers, or Multi-Use Trailer System, began in  2002 as a personal needs project to create a more useful ATV trailer. Larry Edgar wanted a dump trailer and a log-skidder but could not justify the expense of 2 separate pieces of equipment. Combining the 2 functions attracted the attention of some friends who suggested Larry start his own business. Edgar Enterprises was founded and very quickly adopted the objectives of quality, versatility and service as the basis for success. These objectives are still the underlying principles of the business today. MUTS trailers is still a work in progress with constant improvements and new features/accessories in development regularly.

The MUTS Trailers are 37 inches to the top of the box, making them a low profile and very stable trailer. The pulley masts can be removed or folded down into the box in seconds to give the entire trailer a low profile.

These trailers are made from high quality North American materials! The MUTS box is made from 16 gauge galv-annealed automotive grade steel containing rust inhibitors with a hard, microscopically rough surface to which the powder coat can adhere to extremely well giving it excellent wear and rust resistance characteristics.

The bolt together approach allows the trailer to be shipped at lower cost with less potential damage during transport. The assembled trailer can flex without breaking any welds. Damaged components can be removed and repaired or replaced keeping maintenance costs low. Some parts can be removed to accommodate specific user needs. All nuts have nylon inserts so they will not vibrate loose.

The polyester rope is user friendly. It will not cut your hands if frayed and will not bind in the drum like wire rope can.
